Go here: https://www.timbr.xxx and type in your bog name to make an online backup of your tumblr blog. I did and it’s already saved up to October 17, or so it says. I haven’t gone back all the way yet. (Some text is missing from some posts, but it has originals and reblogs.)

Wordpress finally imported my blog. I will probably tinker a bit with the layout and stuff when I have more time (probably after the holidays), but at least my content is backed up.
Continuing to reblog daily until the 16th.
I realize this is a bit late in the game to mention this, but I intend to go through and delete everything that isn’t one of my fics from my blog this Sunday evening. Everything is over on Wordpress, so it technically won’t go away. This is simply because I don’t want to have to go through over 4000 posts and reblogs and sort them all out. The fics will remain up at least until I get the master post on my Wordpress blog updated. After that, I haven’t decided. I’m leaning towards just deleting them as a middle finger to Tumblr for this whole mess. Thoughts?
How did you and how long did it take you to get it over to wordpress?
It took a few days for Wordpress to import my blog, but that was because there were so many others trying to do the same. I’m not sure how many people are still trying right now, so if you’re wanting to back up your stuff, go ahead and initiate an import ASAP.
Did it cost anything? I have been seeing some conflicting info on the matter.
